Return & Refund Policy

At savvyaquariums, you have 30 calendar days after receiving your order to request a return.

For a change-of-mind return, the item must be unused, uninstalled, in the same condition you received it, and in its original packaging with all included parts and accessories. You’ll also need your order number or proof of purchase. These conditions do not limit your rights if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.

How to request a return

Email support@savvyaquariums.com with your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your request. For a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, include photos where possible.

We’ll provide return instructions if your request is accepted. Contact us before sending an item back so we can confirm how to return it.

Return shipping costs

For a change-of-mind return, you arrange and pay for return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we cover the necessary return shipping costs. Contact us first so we can arrange a prepaid label or another return solution at no cost to you.

We do not charge a restocking fee.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact support@savvyaquariums.com as soon as you discover a problem. We’ll assess it and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund. Keep the item and its packaging until we provide instructions.

Exceptions

Custom or personalized products are not eligible for a change-of-mind return. Sale items are also excluded from change-of-mind returns. These exceptions do not limit any rights you have under applicable law if a product is defective or incorrectly supplied.

Exchanges

To request an exchange, email support@savvyaquariums.com within 30 days of receiving your order. Exchanges depend on product availability. We’ll confirm the next steps and any price difference before you return the item. The return shipping rules above also apply to exchanges.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll tell you whether your refund is approved. If approved, we’ll issue it to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or payment provider may need additional time to display the refund.

Change-of-mind return shipping costs paid by you are not reimbursed. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, contact support@savvyaquariums.com.
